Leadership skills can play a large role in career development. Often, your technical skills can only take you so far. Take the following scenario into consideration. You and your team want to create a business plan to attract investors. You have lots of ideas for the business plan, but none of you did the actual work. When it's time to present the proposal, you will have no actionable goals to present to potential investors. To be a good leader, you need to be self-disciplined and make sure others on your team are disciplined too.

Know How to Delegate
